About Us
Bilal Oromo Dawa Center (BODC) is an Oromo Muslim masjid that is in the heart of the thriving city of Fridley, where many Oromo Muslims call this city their home.
We hold several activities, programs and events that enrich our faith, fulfill our obligations to our creed and instill a love of the prophet (pbuh), the Qur'an and above all, Allah (swt).

To serve and engage Muslims in our community according to the book of Allah and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pubh).
To preserve our Oromo cultural values; teach the essence of Oromummaa, which includes our culture, language our history to our kids.

To promote Islam by means of engaging good conduct and behavior towards all members of our community.
To work with other Islamic organizations and communities in promoting coordination, communication and cooperation among the Muslim ummah.
To strive to promote good relations, interfaith and engagement between Muslims and non-Muslims.
What We Do
Our weekend classes serve the Oromo youth and others who are interested in learning deeper the Qur'an and our deen. That they be guided by the teachings of our prophet (pubh), with the hope that they be able to conduct themselves as good Muslims at all times inshallah.
We have other services and programs that benefit our members and our community as a whole.
